Son, by now you realize that the way I train my sons and daughters is by placing them in the middle of the battle. You cannot learn to exercise faith, trust and perseverance merely through knowledge. You cannot learn spiritual warfare by simply knowing it exists. You have to be on the front lines. My servant David understood this when he wrote his psalms. Saul was a man who got off course in his life. This allowed the enemy of his soul to come in. David had to learn how to honor the position Saul held in the midst of him attempting to take his life. This required great trust and courage. I was training my servant David through this measured assault. He learned to trust me for his protection. He learned to be a great warrior, not in spite of this assault, but because of it. I will bring allow things into your life because I am raising you up to be a general in my kingdom. Here is an important truth, my son: The greater the calling, the greater the adversity that is used in my training.
